Bel-Ray Racing-Weekend Wrap-Up

FARMINGDALE, NJ – Bel-Ray Company, Inc. – This past weekend for Bel-Ray’s premier motorcycle racers featured motocross in France and Moto2 competition in Spain.
The Motocross of Nations took place at the Saint Jean D’Angely circuit in France and Bel-Ray racers were present. TwoTwo Motorsports/Bel-Ray Racing’s Chad Reed led the way against the best in the world to win his first moto since the now famous Millville crash. Reed’s 1-7 moto scores helped him lead the Australian team to their first ever podium with a 3rd overall finish. Fellow Bel-Ray racer Tanel Leok finished 6-12 in each of his two motos to help the Estonian team score a 10th place overall finish.
Moto2 racing returned to action after a one week break for the Grand Premio De Aragon in Spain. Continuing to shine and impress the racing community Bel-Ray backed Tech3 Racing’s Bradley Smith put on another masterful display of passing skills as he charged from a 16th place at the end of Lap 1 to 6th at the checkered flag. Teammate Mike DiMeglio had his breakout ride finishing in 12th place at the end of the race just 1.5 seconds behind the top 5. Moto2 racing has produced some of the closest racing action all season long and Spain was no exception. Smith is currently in 6th while DiMeglio is 25th in the series points standings with only 4 rounds remaining.
