Barcia - Bogle - Swanepoel and Concept2 on DMXS Tonight!
Factory Honda often calls up younger talent from their Lites team and this time it was Geico’s Justin Barcia that picked up the blinking red phone. Barcia put together a solid podium performance on the 450 for the mothership and fans got a glimpse into the not-to-distant future when Bam Bam moves up. We’ll hear all the details from our southern neighbor tonight.
DNA Shred Stix/Star Racing’s Gareth Swanepoel continues to improve this summer and showed that his hard work and dedication are paying off by leading some laps at Unadilla and running with the title contenders in the first moto. The likeable South African followed in the footsteps of Langston and Albertyn through Europe for his shot in the US and we look forward to hearing more on that journey tonight.
GEICO’s Justin Bogle reaffirmed at Unadilla what the amateur motocross world already knew. The kid is the real deal and will one to watch for many years to come. Justin’s fifth overall in his professional debut was a great way to introduce himself to fans and looks to back that up in Southwick’s sandbox at the next round. The past few weeks have been crazy for Bogle but we’ll slow things down tonight to catch up on the summer and where he goes from here.
The popular Concept2 Rowers are as common in the pits as a scantily dressed energy drink girl, but you have a realistic shot with the rower. Greg Hammond has done a masterful job as the C2’s representative to the sport and continues to raise awareness to the multiple training benefits that are available with their rowers. He was at Loretta Lynn’s and Unadilla so we’ll be bench racing both weekends with our favorite Vermonter, too. Check out www.Concept2.com for the latest product info.
We want to welcome on GoPro cameras as a new show sponsor. The world’s best selling HD wearable camera for sports, including badass motocross. Check them out at www.gopro.com for all your action packed video needs.
DMXS Radio also thanks our wives, Racer X, MX Sports, OGIO, Concept2Rowers, Coach Robb Beams, MotoSport.com, Vurb Moto and Skull Candy for their continued support.
