SALT LAKE CITY – Vortex Racing, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of motorcycle racing components, announced today that it is opening an office in Salt Lake City, Utah in late August 2011 as part of its expansion efforts to better serve the motorcycle racing industry in the western region of the United States. This new office, which will primarily operate as a distribution center, will also house sales and marketing, engineering, research & development, inventory and assembly departments. Efforts are currently underway to staff this new office with inside sales reps and engineers.
“We are very excited about broadening our reach in the motorcycle racing industry by opening offices in Salt Lake City. We are proud to add our brand name to the numerous motorcycle and alt sports industry names in Utah. I plan to make my home here with my young family as I see Utah as a great place to live, work, play and raise my children,” says Matt Griffin, founder and president of Vortex Racing.
The new Vortex facility is currently being retrofitted for offices and inventory in stages and is projected for total completion in early September. However, Griffin says he’s ready for his new team to get to work.
