Bel-Ray Racing-Weekend Preview

FARMINGDALE, NJ – Bel-Ray Powersports Lubricants’ professional teams and racers will compete this weekend in motocross action in Australia, Canada and Belgium.
In Australia, the Rockstar Energy Drink Mx Nationals series comes to a close after a challenging 9 round season. The Coolum Pines MX Park in Queensland will host the final event of the season. The Bel-Ray backed Axis 07 racing team showed the skills and speed necessary to compete at the highest level. In Under 19s racing Dylan Peterson comes into the final round 4th in the standings, 41 points away from a podium spot. In the Pro Lites class overall standings Cody Mackie is in 8th, Justin McDonald is in 9th, and Keiron Hall is in 11th coming into this weekend’s race.
Round 7 of the CMRC National Championship will take place this weekend at the Riverglade MX Park in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. The Kini / Red Bull / KTM / IMX / Bel-Ray Racing team of Kieran Leigh and Mason Phillips are looking to improve on last weekends results. Sitting in 6th and 9th in their class standings respectively, this first year team has shown great promise and will be a fan favorite this weekend.
The MXGP series returns to action in the deep sands of Lommel, Belgium after a 1 week break. The Bel-Ray backed TM Factory Racing Team of Tanel Leok and Petr Smitka has been struggling this season, but hope to change their luck this weekend at this famous GP track. After 10 of 15 rounds, Leok is 12th in the standings in the MX1 class, while Smitka is 39th in points in the MX2 class after missing several rounds due to injury.
