GoPro Signs Multi-Year Deal to Support the 2011 Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn's

Morgantown, W.Va- MX Sports is proud to welcome GoPro as the official sports camera of the 2011 Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL-the world's largest and most prestigious amateur motocross race.

GoPro is further delving into the motocross industry by showing their support of Amateur Motocross at Loretta Lynn's in 2011 and beyond. As the exclusive sports camera of this year's National, GoPro will be on site throughout the week, showcasing their innovative HD HERO camera and supporting an array of amateur racers.

GoPro's HD HERO's versatile design, durable construction and lightweight properties make it the perfect camera for motocross action. It provides riders with multiple ways to mount or wear the camera, be it on the helmet or chest. It can withstand the physically demanding nature of motocross racing, and riders don't even feel it because it's so light.

"Loretta Lynn's is steeped in history and is the proving ground for tomorrow's pro riders. GoPro is stoked to be onboard as the official and exclusive camera. We are a key sponsor at the professional level of motocross, sponsoring the marquee series for both outdoor and indoor and we are thrilled to start our relationship with the most prestigious event on the amateur level. The enthusiasm and the intensity the riders at Loretta Lynn's display is as exciting as any other. We look forward to providing riders with our HD HERO cameras so they can capture, create and share videos with their fans," says Todd Ballard, Director of Sports Marketing.

The Loretta Lynn's race, which was founded in 1982 at the home of country music icon Loretta Lynn, will celebrate its 30th Anniversary this summer. As the most prestigious amateur motocross race in the world, Loretta Lynn's serves as the last step in the graduation of young athletes to the professional ranks of AMA Motocross and Supercross.

The National Final will be held August 1-6 at the home of country music legend Loretta Lynn in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. In 2011, thirty-five champions will be crowned at what marks the 30th Anniversary celebration of the greatest motocross vacation in the world - the Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL.

About the Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship

The Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship is the world's largest and most prestigious amateur motocross racing program. The national qualifying program consists of 52 Area Qualifiers (February through May) and 12 Regional Championship (June) events hosted at select motocross facilities across the country. The qualifying system culminates in the National Final (first week of August) hosted annually at the home of country music star Loretta Lynn in Hurricane Mills, Tenn., since 1982. Nearly 25,000 racers attempt to qualify in 33 classes for the 1,400 available positions at the National. Christened "The World's Greatest Motocross Vacation", the National event serves as a launch pad for some of the biggest names in professional motocross and supercross, including Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, Ryan Villopoto, and Ryan Dungey. The national program is produced by MX Sports, Inc., a West Virginia-based race production company. For more information, please visit www.mxsports.com.
