EKS Brands Racers Win

It was another incredible weekend for some of our EKS BRAND racers! With the FIM GP series on hiatus, the races in the US were in full swing. Congratulations to all of our guys!
JOSH STRANG, 1st place Snow Shoe GNCC, VA
Josh Strang put his head down an blasted into the lead on the last lap of the gnarly Snowshoe GNCC in Va. The wet and muddy conditions played havoc on the entire field. Josh had perfect vision the entire race and was able to pass the leader near the very end of the race in a mud hole no less. Josh won by 2 seconds! With the win Josh extended his points lead for the overall championship! For pics and more details check out the site below.

MIKE ALESSI, TOMMY HAHN, Lakewood CO AMA National.
Tommy Hahn put in one of the best rides of the year. The first moto he battled his way from last place all the way up to 11th. This hard charging ride at that altitude was an amazing showing of Tommy's heart and determination. The second moto again he came from back of the pack to finish 5th for 6th place overall.
Mike Alessi had a weekend to forget. He got a mid pack start the first moto, which is very odd for Mike, he worked his way through the pack to finish a distant 5th place. The second moto he was caught up in a second turn pile up which unfortunately hurt his hip enough to retire for the day. His 5th, DNF gave him 14th overall for the day.
SAMMY HALBERT 1st, AMA National Flat Track, round 9, Lima OH.
EKS BRANDS Sammy Halbert continued his winning ways over the weekend in Lima OH. Sammy dominated the main event and extending his overall Grand National flat track points lead to 25.
