Round 5 of the MXGPs from St. Jean D’Angely in France claimed the likes of Clement Desalle, Ken Roczen and Jeffery Herlings and proceeded to strip them of valuable championship points. St Jean D’Angely, which will also host the 65th Motocross of Nations on September 18th, could provide the boys from across the pond with a valuable learning experience heading into the MXON. So let's get over to the lap charts, brought to you by Motion Pro, to see how it all broke down.

Red Bull Teka KTM’s Antonio Cairoli was the star of moto 1, according to lap chart standards, that is. The Italian Stallion made a charge down the stretch run setting the fastest lap of the day on lap 19! Tony is always fast late in this races, but this is still a pretty amazing feat on what was supposedly a very soft and wet track.
In moto 2 it was David Philippaerts stealing the show setting a blazing fast 1:55.078 on lap seven to claim the top spot. A few mistakes would cost Philippaerts, as he would limp home to an 18th place finish, but he can take solace in taking home the fastest lap in moto 2.

Red Bull Teka KTM's Ken Roczen was a one-man wrecking crew in France. Well, for at least one moto anyways. After putting in a dominant performance in the first moto, while also setting the fastest lap of the day, Roczen would take a couple of soil samples in moto 2 and finish the day off the podium. A tough break for the current MX2 points leader.
Zach Osborne is a long way from home, but the American continues to show guts and determination in his trek through the GP circuit. Osborne went 3-3 for his first podium of the year, all while setting the fastest lap in moto 2.
Herlings would finish off the podium for the first time all year in France.
