WMR's Brock Papi takes Overall at Muddy Creek
Pennsylvania’s Brock Papi headed south to compete against some of the fastest 85cc riders in the country. Papi a KTM racer new to the 85 class flexed his muscle in the most competitive regional qualifier MX Sports has to offer by winning the 9-11 85cc stock class and placing 6th in the mod class. These finishes earn Papi his 3rd trip in 3 years to the Big Show. Papi commented, “The competition was tough and everyone was on the gas. I was able to keep my WMR KTM 85 up front all weekend and take the overall”. I couldn’t perform at a high level without the help of my awesome sponsors: WMR, KTM, FLY, Trey Kelly MX School, ARMA Energy SNX, Dunlop, Monster, Dragon Goggles, FMF, Leatt, Spectro Oils, Acerbis, DC Shoes, Kicker, Skull Candy Head Phones, JD Ignitions, Total Image Auto Sport, Stellar and Mosites Motorsports.“Muddy Creek is an awesome track and they should be commended on their performance as well said Papi.”
Brock Papi a 2010 Mini O’s Champion, 2nd place finisher at Loretta Lynn’s in the 7-9 65cc class and Team USA rider and Gold winner was offered the chance to join KTM’s Orange Brigade Team on the KTM 85SX for 2011. To us, it looks like young Brock made the right decision forgoing his last 2 two years on the 65. Look out Loretta’s! Good Luck Brock!
