Lynn Nickerson Honored at Freestone National

Merced, Calif. – Motocross Announcer Great, Lynn Nickerson, will be honored this Saturday during a special ceremony during the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship weekend. Lynn passed last Friday morning in the comfort of his home. Lynn was a great announcer, but was known by everyone for his kindness and concern for those around him. He would always ask how someone else was doing and went out of his way to comfort others.
“Mr Nickerson was one of the good guys of our sport” states Alex Moroz, General Managing Partner for the tour. “Lynn had an infectious smile and was one of the best announcers in our business”.
As many racers said, Lynn knew everyone by name and gave everyone the same respect running first or dead last because he got it... You lined up and raced and you were someone special.
