FUEL TV Gears up For Live Motos in Texas
LUCAS OIL AMA PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIPS: REED A BIG SURPRISE, TEXAS HEAT A CHALLENGE - FUEL TV airs the second stop of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championships – the Rockstar Energy Freestone National - live from Worthham, TX on Saturday, May 28 (2:00 PM ET).
According to Jason Weigandt, FUEL TV personality, Chad Reed was a big surprise last weekend. “Not just that he won, but the way he did it. Last year, no one could match Ryan Dungey's fitness and endurance late in the races. At Hangtown, Reed outlasted him late in the day. Clearly both of these riders are ready to go the distance this season.”
This week’s race in Texas is all about handling the heat and humidity. “Ryan Dungey's strength last year not only helped him win the race, but the whole season. A lot of riders pushed too hard in the heat and ruined their bodies for the year. This is especially critical in the 250 class, where the riders have less experience. In that class, I expect a veteran like Tyla Rattray to excel in these conditions.”
