Pastrana/Alessi/Blose/Hammond and more on DMXS Radio Tonight

Red Bull’s Travis Pastrana is the most recognized and popular action sport’s athlete in the world and you don’t earn that by sitting on your ass. Travis and his Nitro Circus crew just wrapped up their tours in Australia and New Zealand and have added stops in the US and Europe for 2011. You can see the mayhem on June 4 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas which is promised to be the show that tops them all. He was just featured in GQ magazine where they lovingly called him Jackass Knievel as the author somehow tried to define the indefinable. Oh yeah, he is also set to make his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut in July. We’re lucky enough to snag him for an interview before he heads off to his next adventure and will try to catch up on all his summer plans.
Factory KTM’s Mike Alessi had a trying supercross season but seems to have made some real gains throughout the year with the new 350 and even found the holeshot magic that alluded him earlier in the season. It’s no secret that Mike prefers the nationals and he’ll get a chance to display his outdoor skills this weekend as the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship kicks off at Hangtown. Dodge Motorsports H&H’s Chris Blose finished a season-best forth at the finale in Vegas and was one of only a few riders that made every main event this year. Chris is a very competitive kid and will take all this well-earned experience and apply to the future. We look forward to catching up to see what’s next for the quiet, but fast Arizonian.
MX Sports' Davey Coombs is a late addition to the show. We'll talk about the opening round of the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Hangtown this weekend.
