The Dirt Lab Opens New Location in Salt Lake City
The Dirt Lab is pleased to announce the opening of a new location in Salt Lake City, Utah. The new facility will be focusing on engine and suspension modification, as well as general service, parts and accessories.
At the helm of the Salt Lake City location will be Jesse Black. Jesse has a long history supported by a solid reputation in the industry as a top technician. Originally hailing from West Virginia, Jesse's career began as a Motorcycle Mechanic's Institute graduate in 2001, a dealership technician, then MMI Instructor, and shortly thereafter became Crew Chief for the Team Solitaire AMA Racing Team. Along the way he became principle mechanic for veteran racer Ryan Clark, together finishing ninth overall in the 2006 AMA SX series, and winning the Montreal SX in 2007. Black has also overseen technical duties for Team Solitaire riders Justin Buckelew, Jiri Dostal, Ricky Renner, Bobby Kiniry, and Phil Nicoletti. More recently, Jesse built the Honda CRF450R piloted by Belgian rider Clemente DeSalle to a third place moto finish at the Washougal AMA Pro National in 2009.
Jesse had this to say about the expansion: "We have found great success with our Phoenix location, and I look forward to opening a new base in the heart of another great off-road market. I am excited to serve a new group of customers from Utah all the way up to the Pacific Northwest".
