Dodge Motorsports/Hart & Huntington Race Report: Seattle
April 19, 2011, 3:40pm
Carlsbad, CA – Dodge Motorsports/Hart & Huntington team rider, Ivan Tedesco, claimed his second straight Nuclear Cowboyz Holeshot Award as he and teammate Chris Blose continued their streak of Main event appearances this past weekend at Round 15 of the AMA/FIM Supercross Championship in Seattle, Washington. Tedesco and Blose are two of only eight riders to successfully qualify for every Main this season.
Before the race, Dodge Motorsports / Hart & Huntington had a chance to sit down with team manager, Kenny Watson to talk about the season so far, Ivan Tedesco’s experience at the 2011 Dodge Motorsports Athlete’s Summit and Chris Blose’s goals for the remainder of the season.

After qualifying for the Main with a 5th place finish in Heat #2, Tedesco jetted out of the gate and past the first corner to claim the Nuclear Cowboyz Holeshot Award. Unfortunately, the deep ruts on the track made it difficult for an already injured Tedesco to maintain his lead. With a torn ACL, Tedesco was compelled to ride in protection mode for the remainder of the race, finishing in 14th place. “I struggled a lot with that track because it was so gnarly. I crashed about halfway and had a couple of other close calls, but I think almost everyone did,” said Tedesco currently sits 10th in championship points.
For Blose, a lap 1 crash and an injury to his hand forced him to watch the remainder of the Main from the sidelines. “I got a good start until I was in a crash on lap 1. I got pretty banged up and I broke my bike which forced me to miss the remainder of the Main. I have been racing well these past few weeks so it was unfortunate to sit this race out after the crash. With only two rounds remaining, I’m hoping to stay healthy and finish the season strong,” said Blose, who currently sits 14th in championship points.
The Dodge Motorsports/Hart and Huntington team heads to Salt Lake City, Utah next weekend for round 16 of Supercross racing.
