Dragon Racing Fuels/1-866-KTM-PART Dallas Race Report
Arlington, Texas – Having taken the Toronto round off due to illness and injury, Team Dragon Racing Fuels/1-866-KTM-PART headed into Cowboy Stadium refreshed and ready to race.
#690 Ricky Winters had some good qualifying practices but missed the night show by 4 spots. He is continuing to make progress and is getting better each week.
#60 Killy Rusk took a hard crash in his first practice that tore up his bike and had to miss the second practice but laid down good times in the final practice to make his way into the night show.
In Heat 1, Killy got a great start and came around the first turn in 3rd place, but in the next turn the second place rider went down and caused Killy to loose several spots. As the heat race continued, Killy got lose in the whoops and that put him out of the top nine and to the LCQ.
When the gate dropped for the LCQ, Killy got another good start and came around the first turn in 3rd. He continued to battle for the top two spots but in the final lap he was bumped off the track and his evening was done.
