Another Great Weekend at the Races for Novik Gloves
AMA Arenacross Championship Series-
Tyler Bowers wins his 11th round of the series, and earns himself his 1st career AMA Arenacross Championship! The “Hitman” has made an outstanding recovery this year, after last season breaking both his femurs, resulting in a disappointing season end. Tyler as well as the Babbitt’s Kawasaki team, has worked hard to get back where he belongs and now holds the well-deserved championship plate. Tyler also became the first motocross racer in recent history to win a championship wearing accessory gloves! His choice is Novik Gloves…Congratulations to Tyler, his family and all that proudly stand behind him!!
AMA Arenacross Lites Championship Series-
Great weekend in the Lites Division of the Arenacross Series as well. Austin Primavera wins his first main event of the season Friday evening at Rockford, IL. The Suzuki mounted rider from Larue, OH is currently sitting 2nd in points in the AX East Division, but is gaining momentum as the season goes along.
On Saturday evening, Austin finished 3rd place behind another of Novik Gloves team riders, Tanner Moore. Tanner came back from a 9th place finish on Friday, and got on the podium for a 2nd place in the main event on Saturday evening. Tanner now sits in 2nd place in the AX Lites West Division.
AMA Supercross Lites East Series-
Matt Lemoine had a good weekend in front of his hometown crowd. The MotoExtreme Kawasaki mounted rider from Collinsville, TX comfortably got 2nd place in the Heat #1. In the main, Matt had a decent start and found himself in 4th place and slowly gaining on Blake Wharton for a podium spot. An unfortunate mistake after the sand section cost him a spot, resulting in 5th overall for the evening.
Hunter Clements also made the main in Arlington, and was excited about the result of 15th place.
Outstanding results from all of the Novik Gloves team riders this past weekend and we certainly are very proud of them all! Looking forward to another weekend of racing.
