MXTrader.net/AJ Catanzaro Leaves Toronto With Top Ten Hopes in Dallas
MXTrader.net rider, AJ Catanzaro went into the Rogers Centre on Saturday night for the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Lites East round 6 with a bit of more confidence and determination. After missing the main in Indianapolis a few weeks ago, Catanzaro made a commitment to be a main event regular in the remaining rounds of the East series.
”Week to week I can see a boost in AJ confidence and comfort level on the track. In Toronto AJ attach the track from the first lap of practice and had no doubt about making the main,” said Rudy Schellenberger, owner of MXTrader.net.
Factory Connection, VonZipper, GoPro, O’Neal, Spectro Oils, TLR, Leatt, and Ankle-Savers also support Catanzaro, number 338 who earned a 13th place finish in Toronto.
However, making the main is no longer satisfactory for the young and determined rider. Catanzaro has set his sights on higher goals for the remaining two rounds of the series starting with Dallas this Saturday at Cowboy Stadium.
“I want to be in the top ten so bad,” said Catanzaro. “I’ve been so close the last two weeks. I just missed it in Jacksonville and I just missed it here (Toronto).”
While he admits to a horsepower disadvantage compared to other bikes on the track, Schellenberger sees a bright future for his lone rider.
“AJ is racing with more confidence and aggression, so a top ten is in the near future. AJ’s results are remarkable considering his motor is totally stock. His suspension was set up by Factory Connection and has a slip-on Dr. D silencer.”
The next event on the Supercross East Series schedule is April 2 at Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, TX where Catanzaro is looking for his first top ten finish.
