Wilson/Wharton/Lindstrom/Wey/Hahn/Ping/Partridge on DMXS Radio Tonight

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Dean Wilson is back on a roll after a few bad races with a win in Toronto last weekend. While that is indeed good news, the best news is that his skinny Scottish/Canadian/Californian ass made it back across the border this year. No passport or document issues to keep him from making a run at the title with just a few rounds left. Deano is always a fun interview and will join us tonight after a vicious workout at the gym.
GEICO Honda’s Blake Wharton is doing his best to salvage a season that began with such high hopes as a legitimate title contender. The likeable Texan has shown great speed throughout the year but had his share of misfortune that has led to inconsistent results and a distant fifth in the points. He has plenty of fight left, even with an injured shoulder, and showed his determination with a spirited podium in Toronto. We’ve known this kid way before his patchy facial hair sprouted and look forward to catching up tonight.
Two Two Motorsports’ Lars Lindstrom comes from pure motocross pedigree. His dad, AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame inductee Gunnar Lindstrom, is one of the pioneers of American motocross. Lars currently spins wrenches for Chad Reed and is considered one of the most respected guys in the pits. He has earned that respect while working his way up with the some of the sport’s greatest riders, including McGrath and Windham. It’s no wonder that Chad would seek out his talent and trust him to prepare his bike for battle every weekend. We’ll ring up Lars after his flight lands in Dallas tonight.
GEICO Honda’s Wil Hahn wasn’t back on the bike very long before another crash injured his shoulder. We’ll get the latest on the damage and when Lil’ Wil will be back in the saddle again. His dating segment was popular last time so maybe he’ll give out some more advice on picking up the ladies.
VMS’ Nick Wey has been a part of DMXS for most of our ten years doing the show. We still pull for the Michigan Mafia godfather and had to get him on this week after his best finish of the year in Toronto. Well done, Tricky.
Racer X’s David Pingree has plenty to say and we promise not to hold him back. We’ll try to have our bleep button ready but you know how he is when he gets on a roll. Hide your wife and kids for this one.
Kyle Partridge was considered a top amateur prospect and had the skills to back it up in the pro ranks. Unfortunately, a few ill-timed injuries and some tough luck took a toll on his young career and his window of opportunity was closing quickly. Kyle is trying to keep his dream alive this year as a barebones privateer and a single parent while trying to make it to the races every weekend. Kyle is an easy rider to pull for and wanted to give him some love on the show tonight.
Don’t forget to call into our DMXS Vent Line and tell the world how you’re really feeling. The best calls will be played back on the show each week. Let’s see what ya got! 1-855-HEY-DMXS
