CORONA, Calif. - Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Dean Wilson and Blake Baggett look to Canada to round up another win as the team heads to Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada. Each rider is hoping to make progress after a rollercoaster round in Jacksonville, Fla.
Wilson may have found the second step to the podium last week in Jacksonville, but he is hungry for another win. With his confidence reemerging and his Canadian fans to give him the edge, Wilson is hoping that Toronto will be the site of his second-career win.
“I love going back to Canada and seeing all my fans that have supported me throughout my career,” said Wilson. “I’m having fun again and I know I can be up there for the win. I just need to be smart and have fun. That worked for me last week.”
After a tough weekend in Florida, Baggett is looking to bounce back strong, looking to capture his third-career win.
“I have been focusing hard to put the race in Florida behind me,” said Baggett. “I want to prove that I can be up there and make a big comeback. I know I can win and I’ll be coming out big in Toronto.”
The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team heads north of the border to Toronto this weekend as the Monster Energy Supercross, an FIM Championship enters the sixth round of the AMA Supercross Lites Eastern Region. Over the weekend, Wilson moved into third with 97 points, while Baggett sits in fourth with 85 points.
