Justin Brayton, Supercross Racer, Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGRMX
Overall this has been a great year for Brayton #10 in the premier class of Supercross. He's currently 8th in points after falling victim of a first turn pile-up in Houston this past weekend where he finished 13th. Originally from Iowa, Justin has moved to North Carolina to test, train, and live near the team headquarters which Joe Gibbs owns. Recently Justin and his teammate Davi Millsaps were featured in a Toyota commercial to show the teams association with the NASCAR team Gibb's also owns.
Broc Tickle, Supercross Lites Rider - Pro Circuit Kawasaki
In 2011, Broc made the move from the Star Racing Team to Pro Circuit team and he is having an amazing season in the Lites West series. After the five rounds he is in second place overall with one win and two 2nd place finishes. Broc has worked hard and persevered through injuries to get to where he is now. He is a former Loretta Lynn's champion and grew up in North Carolina outside of Raleigh.
Cal Northrup, Owner/Mechanic - FTI Racing
Cal grew up in southern California. His first introduction to racing was working for his father-in-law's modified stock car team. In 1993 he moved to North Carolina to work for a NASCAR team. In 1994 he was awarded the "True Value Gold Wrench Award". He worked for a number of Sprint Cup, Busch and Truck teams. In 2007 - 2008 he managed the Bad Boy SX/MX team. He currently runs FTI Racing, a full-service, off-road shop and supports a number of riders in SX and GNCC/NCHSA.
Mike Morgan, Daytona Sportbike Rider/Owner - Autolite RIM Racing
Mike started racing motocross when he was 11, by 17 he had switched over to road racing. In 2003 he had accumulated enough expert points to start racing AMA Pro Road Racing. He has been racing in AMA ever since his debut race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in 2003. His best finish so far in the Daytona Sportbike class has been a 14th overall. In 2010 at Road Atlanta he set the fastest speed trap speed with a 166.98 mph.
Ed Moreland, Government Relations - American Motorcyclist Association
Ed continues to have his hands full these days working on behalf of AMA members to protect their right to ride. Access to public land is being denied to motorcyclist in huge land grabs under Wilderness Protection programs. In addition to his Government Relations position Ed also serves as Vice President of the Commission for Mobility, Transport, Road Safety and Public Policy of the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM). Additionally, Ed serves on the Federal Highway Administration's newly formed Motorcycle Advisory Committee and the Transportation Research Board's Committee on Motorcycles Mopeds.
