Video: TLD/Lucas Oil/Honda at the LAPD Police Academy

Before the racing began at Dodger Stadium last weekend, the Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/ Honda team was invited to join Chief Charlie Beck of the LAPD and his team at the Police Academy located right next to the stadium.

A long time fan of Supercross and avid rider himself, Charlie Beck has already spent time with the TLD squad at the races, in the pits, and at the Corona Headquarters. This week was a chance for Chief Beck to give something back to the sport he loves, and a great opportunity for the team to see what goes on behind the scenes at the LAPD. The team was treated to several police demonstrations including remote control disarming devices with the Bomb Squad, dog training with the K9 unit, and shooting and SWAT simulations.
