Happy New Year From Husqvarna North America A Recap Of 2010
January 5, 2010 - Corona, CA
Happy New Year from Husqvarna Motorcycles North America! In the brief time the new management team has been in place, we have greatly enjoyed meeting our dealers, vendors, riders and media representatives in our new roles here at Husqvarna. To top all that off, Team Zip-Ty Husqvarna gave Husky fans something to cheer about with a sweeping victory of the tough Tecate Enduro to close out the 2010 racing season! This Tecate triumph coming just weeks after Desert Master Nick Burson bagged his 4th U.S. Desert Racing series #1 plate. Fred Andrews Racing also gave us something to celebrate this season with FAR rider Jason Thomas taking the last GNCC X2 victory of the year - missing the #1 plate by just one point.
Along the way, Husqvarna had a field day at the International Six Days Enduro, along with Antoine Meo winning the E1 World Enduro title and Bobby Garrison winning the World 2-Stroke Championship. Husky highlights in Endurocross, WORCS, Best In The Desert, Extreme Enduro, Supermoto and Grand Prix competition helped cap off a year where Husqvarna was fittingly named "Marque Of The Year" for AMA's Vintage Motorcycle Days this past summer.
Despite a challenging economy, one fact remained true - Husqvarna owners continued to ride, race and enjoy their Huskys! We look forward to an amazing 2011 with new levels of support, new products and more riding fun. Enjoy this glimpse back at 2010 and best wishes for a happy and healthy new year.
