  • Suzuki Restructures Business Model & Facilities

BREA, Calif. — For the past Year, American Suzuki Motor Corporation has been taking many steps in rebuilding and preparing for the U.S. economic recovery. In addition to having new class-leading products such as the GSX-R600, GSX-R750 and GSX1250FA motorcycles, KingQuad 500AXi ATV, DF300 V6 outboard and award-winning Kizashi automobile, Suzuki is preparing internally for a fresh, new marketing year. The past year has been spent rebuilding the workforce to maximize internal brand communication, starting with the relocation of all marketing divisions into a one unified workspace. By consolidating the Automotive, Motorcycle/ATV and Marine divisions into one centralized office location last year, ASMC aims to bring an increased level of communication between the various departments.

Joining the many branches of Suzuki under one roof has improved communication within the organization, and Suzuki marked this new era by the grand opening of a new visitor entrance at ASMC’s headquarters in Brea, Calif. on Friday, October 22 with an inaugural celebration featuring ASMC President Kevin Saito and a number of ASMC office staff. The new visitor entrance is designed to serve as a symbolic cornerstone that unites the multiple divisions of ASMC together and helps the entire company stay connected with both itself and its visitors.

The design of this new, modernized entrance was proposed to better fuse the synergy of ASMC and reflect the spirit and design of their products and company. Select walls were painted a bright shade of Suzuki blue to evoke the passion and spirit of the Suzuki brand for all visitors and staff. The new entrance was designed with fundamental Japanese design details, including elements of nature and a sense of proportion to every facet of the space. A pair of new conference rooms welcome visitors to Suzuki while a nearby trophy wall displays recent awards Suzuki has won that promote both the successful accomplishments and progressive energy of the company and their products as Suzuki looks forward to the future.
