2011 Star Racing Team Lineup Announced

The DNA Shred Stix / Star Racing / Yamaha Team is excited to announce the signing of Ryan Sipes, Kyle Cunningham, Gannon Audette, Gareth Swanepoel, and Jessica Patterson to a deal to ride West/East Coast Supercross and the Lucas Oil Outdoor National Series.

"I am eager to get racing with our new crop of standout riders, we feel there is a lot of good to come from our 2011 squad and I am happy about that," says team owner Bobby Regan. "They are a determined group of kids with strong results in the past and we are really happy to have all of them on our team."

"My amateur career went pretty well," said Loretta Lynn champion Audette. "I walked away with quite a few championships, and a lot of success in my last year. And now with this being my first year as a pro, I think I can show some good speed, and ride to my potential. I know I can build on my program, and keep working to be up front and have a solid season this year."

"I know I can be in the top three at every race, and I want to try and grab some wins," Sipes says. "I've learned a lot in the past year and I'm pretty excited to be on this team for next year. I'm going to work hard and go for it; try my hardest and have fun."

"I was on Yamaha motorcycles this past season, so I know the bike is great. I'm really excited to be on the Star team because the bikes will be much stronger, said Cunningham"

"For the 2011 Supercross season, I plan on learning and being in contention because it is possible. I’m stoked to be getting this opportunity and to be backed by this team and there great sponsors is a dream come true," says the South African top World GP rider Swanepoel.

Also, Patterson adds, "I can’t wait to build upon what the team and I accomplished this past season, and run out front again, but this time with the #1 plate."
