  • Suzuki Introduces the 2011 Line of Motorcycles and ATVs

BREA, Calif. — American Suzuki Motor Corporation is pleased to announce the introduction of the 2011 line of motorcycles and ATVs. This lineup includes brand new models and proves that 2011 is truly "Just the Beginning" for Suzuki.

Suzuki’s array of 2011 motorcycles and ATVs offers something for all riders. Whether your idea of riding is cruising the open road, discovering a new trail, commuting to work or setting a new lap record at the track – Suzuki has a 2011 motorcycle or ATV for every type of rider.

2011 is a hallmark year for Suzuki sportbikes. In addition to updates on the groundbreaking Hayabusa and GSX-R1000 sportbikes, the brand-new 2011 GSX-R750 and GSX-R600 models showcase the advanced technological features that have made the GSX-R line the race-winning choice of champions for over 25 years.

The Suzuki lineup for 2011 introduces the all-new GSX1250FA model to its ranks. This 1255cc, four-stroke, four-cylinder, fuel-injected standard motorcycle offers riders unparalleled performance coupled with aggressive sportbike styling and a full wind-protective fairing. Joining the GSX1250FA to the 2011 Suzuki line is the TU250X– the fuel-injected 249cc four-stroke motorcycle that is perfect for beginning riders who want reliable, uncompromised performance and classic style at a great price.

For 2011, Suzuki has updated their championship-winning, class-leading RM-Z motocross bikes. The RM-Z450 and RM-Z250 are high performance machines designed to stand out at the track and be competitive right out of the crate, with Suzuki electronic fuel injection, Showa suspension and lightweight twin-spar aluminum frames.

A superior riding experience doesn’t stop at the end of the trail, though. For 2011, Suzuki is introducing three new dual-sport motorcycles that allow a rider to continue the riding fun from the trail to the street. The DR650SE and DR-Z400S are versatile rides that combine street bike performance and exceptional dirt bike handling and the V-Strom 650 ABS – a machine built for adventure with lightweight agility, precise handling, and a powerful 645cc 4-stroke powerplant.

Suzuki includes five new models in the cruiser category. The Boulevard line sees the addition of updated M109R and M109R Limited Edition models – the award-winning 1800cc power cruisers with unique style and exhilarating performance that have made them a modern classic. Joining them is the C50T – a touring version of the venerable C50 with twin leather saddle bags, studded seat with backrest and height-adjustable windshield. To include an entry-level model to the cruiser line, Suzuki is including the S40 model for 2011, which features a classic 650cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine design that stands out for its simplicity and lightweight responsiveness. Designed for riders to enjoy the simple pleasure and pure excitement of motorcycling, the S40 blends the winning combination of classic style, modern technology and a low price.

New for 2011, the Burgman 400 ABS and Burgman 650 Executive are class-leading scooters that combine modern styling, convenience and full-size motorcycle performance for a ride that is excels equally at daily commuting and highway touring. Featuring technologically-advanced performance features like an Antilock Brake System (ABS) and Continuously Variable Automatic Transmission (CVT) along with convenient comfort features like spacious well-padded seats, a cavernous illuminated under-seat compartment, lidded storage compartments and an adjustable windshield – the 2011 Burgman 400 ABS and Burgman 650 Executive are comfortable and versatile rides for the city or the highway.

Not limiting 2011 updates to two-wheels, Suzuki is introducing new and updated models to their Utility Sport KingQuad line. This includes performance upgrades like Suzuki fuel injection on the KingQuad 400ASi 4x4 and KingQuad 400FSi 4x4 models and style updates on the KingQuad 500 and 750 variations. These updates enhance the KingQuad line’s reputation as the toughest Utility Sport ATVs on the market – ready to conquer the toughest trails or cut the work day down to size.

From highway touring to off-road racing, and everything in-between – Suzuki offers a class-leading 2011 motorcycle or ATV for every type of rider that delivers exceptional performance, unmatched handling and superb styling.
