Hahn, Button, Reynard, 2010 ISDE Team USA on DMXS Tonight
Jimmy Button has always been active with the Road2Recovery and their valiant efforts to help downed riders and their families, but his latest project is a true measure of his commitment to make a difference in spinal cord research. Jimmy and his former trainer Cory Worf will be embarking on a 2428 mile road bike odyssey from San Diego’s Qualcom Stadium to the Daytona International Speedway with the hopes of raising 1 million dollars along the way. JB will be on to discuss the details but you don’t have to wait until then to donate or get involved. Go to www.milesformiraclestoday.com for ways you can help them achieve their goal and support Button Fly along the way.
GEICO Powersports Honda’s Wil Hahn has been trying out his new equipment preparing for the upcoming supercross season where he will be a definite title contender. It’s always a good time catching up with our Texas redneck brethren and we’ll see if he can finally speak freely about Ping after the gag order is due to expire.
Robbie Reynard has been a popular rider with the fans his entire career and has successfully made the transition away from racing and put on the track owner/promoter/instructor hat on with Reynard Raceway. A good promoter knows what the fans want to see and the next round of his 2010 Fall Motocross Series next weekend is going to have Canard, Pastrana, and Bartram racing 125’s at halftime. That right there is worth flying in for, let alone if you’re within driving distance, so make plans now to see that! We look forward to catching up Robbie and see if that earthquake this morning in Oklahoma moved any of his jumps. Check out www.reynardraceway.com for info on his schools, series, and practice days.
The International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) was first held in 1913 and is the oldest event on the FIM calendar. The event has attracted national teams from as many as 32 countries in recent years and is often referred to as the "Olympics of Motorcycling." We are proud to welcome on the entire 2010 United States team that is heading off to Mechoacan, Mexico for the 85th ISDE to represent red, white, and blue against the world’s best off-road racers. They are all accomplished riders in their own right and we look forward to catching up with Kurt Caselli, Destry Abbott, Nathan Woods, Mike Brown, Timmy Weigand, and Jimmy Jarrett. Good luck, gentlemen! You can follow them on Twitter and the Team USA Facebook page or go to www.isde.tv for more information.
