Yoshimura RS-4 Exhaust Systems for the 2011 Honda CRF450R

  • Yoshimura RS-4 Exhaust Systems for the 2011 Honda CRF450R

Chino, Calif.  – The 2011 Honda CRF450 is a purpose-built motocross racing machine, and Yoshimura knows the needs of racers better than any other exhaust manufacturer. That’s why they’ve decided to make their race-proven RS-4 exhaust systems, the same systems that powered the Honda Red Bull Racing team during the 2010 season, available for these incredible bikes in both Slip-on and Full System configurations.

The RS-4 is one of Yoshimura’s most advanced designs. It utilizes a duplex chamber design to maximize internal muffler volume, while minimizing the overall size of the muffler. The chamber also acts as a secondary mechanical baffle to reduce noise without impeding exhaust flow. This translates to a significant boost in power throughout the RPM range, without all the noise that’s commonly associated with high performance exhaust systems.

The RS-4, like all Yoshimura systems, is manufactured from the highest quality materials available, and features the legendary build quality that Yoshimura is known for. Each muffler is constructed from stainless steel and aluminum alloy for strength and lightness, giving you the best of both worlds. The slip-on muffler features an aluminum sleeve, while the full system muffler is available with an aluminum, titanium or carbon fiber sleeve.

Each RS-4 system includes all of the necessary mounting hardware, and a set of easy to follow instructions to make the installation process quick and painless.
