Grenade Launches MX Gear
PORTLAND, OR – Grenade Inc., the action sports lifestyle company owned by Olympic snowboarder Danny Kass, recently announced that they are expanding their line to include motocross gear.
After successful collaborations with The Metal Mulisha, Hart & Huntington, and Sullen, Grenade is launching a complete line of technical dirt riding gear. The gear debuted at industry tradeshows in August 2010 and includes two styles; the higher-end "Bulletproof" and the more affordable "Macadam Series. Grenade also introduced six new styles of premium MX gloves and is offering a full casual apparel line built specifically for moto accounts.
"We recognize that our target audience in the action sports community is involved in many different activities, moto being one of those," said Grenade CEO Joseph Conderelli, "We did some grass roots market research and found that a lot of customers who snowboard are also into riding, and with several moto enthusiasts on staff and in our sponsorship program, we knew it would be a great fit for us."
Grenade is currently building its sales force and creating a dealer network. Reps will be offering softgoods and apparel to moto accounts for immediate delivery and the new MX line will deliver in February 2011.
