Mississippi State C'ships/Pro-Am this Weekend
PRENTISS, MS – For the third straight year Golden Pine Raceway is excited to host an AMA Pro-Am in combination with the AMA Mississippi State Championships all in one great weekend. This year’s event has been expanded to two full days of racing and a three-moto format. Given the three-moto format, the purse increased over prior years to $6,000 to allow Pro-Am riders to chase $1,000 in each moto. The combination of AMA Pro-Am points and the hefty purse will provide for an exciting mix of B class graduates, Lucas Oil Outdoor National privateers, and recent Loretta Lynn A class graduates. What an awesome mix of talent.
The rest of the riders will get to compete for #1 class championship plates and contingency from many of the great sponsors of the event. Honda OEM contingency will be paid through the District 19 Fall Shootout series which will be paying series points at this event.
Last year's race attracted racers from as far away as New York and Kevin Windham made an appearance on Saturday to turn some amazingly fast laps. Saturday, September 18th
- Practice at 8:30 AM
- Racing at 10:15 AM
Sunday, September 19th
- Hot laps at 8AM
- Racing at 9AM
