VP Introduces MR-Pro5 for MX, SX

  • VP Introduces MR-Pro5 for MX, SX

Riders who participate in the upcoming AMA Supercross series can count on extra horsepower in their quest for the title, thanks to the newest motorcycle fuel from VP Racing Fuels. "MR-Pro5 is unleaded, engineered to generate maximum horsepower in 4-stroke applications in conformance with AMA Pro Racing rules," said Bruce Hendel, Western Regional Manager for VP.

"While VP’s MR-Pro4.1 has been the standard for AMA Supercross and Motocross champions for the last several years, testing has proven MR-Pro5 delivers up to 2% more power than MR-Pro4.1 and with its lower RVP, MR-Pro5 is more stable in hot weather," Hendel added. "These results confirm MR-Pro5 makes more power than any other AMA-legal fuel on the market. In addition, jetting/mapping changes are minimal and MR-Pro5 does not require radical changes in ignition timing like other fuels on the market. As racers ready their bikes for the 2011 season, MR-Pro5 will prove as critical to their success as any performance part in their program."

VP’s motorcycle fuels have enjoyed unparalleled success throughout North America and Europe, dominating the Supercross, Motocross, Superbike and Supermoto classes in AMA, as well as fueling multiple winners in the Isle of Man TT and powering Team USA to four consecutive championships in Motocross des Nations. "MR-Pro5 is just the latest example of our commitment to stay ahead of the competition with constant innovation," Hendel concluded.

VP’s fuels are conveniently available throughout North America, Europe and performance shops around the world. To find the nearest retail location, customers can contact the appropriate VP Regional Distribution Center, each of which is listed online at vpracingfuels.com. Customers with technical questions about MR-Pro5 can contact VP’s Tech Staff at 210-241-1192 or email MotorcycleTech@vpracingfuels.com.

Since 1975, VP Racing has fueled champions in virtually every racing category and class. VP’s fuels have earned a reputation for superior power and consistency – as illustrated by its sweep of championships in all classes of AMA Supercross, Motocross, Superbike and Supermoto from 2004 through 2008.

In addition to racing fuels, VP recently introduced SEF Small Engine Fuel, formulated specifically for portable gas-powered equipment to ensure quicker, more dependable starts and worry-free long-term storage. More information is available online at www.vpracingfuels.com and www.SEFfuels.com.
