DeCoster / Mike Alessi / Wharton / Goerke / Beams / Weege on DMXS Radio Tonight!
Factory Suzuki’s Roger DeCoster has enjoyed the success of two titles this year and hopes to put the icing on the cake at the MXdN in a few short weeks. We will catch up with "The Man" tonight for a recap on the fruitful year and his plans for the team in 2011.
Jagermeister KTM’s Mike Alessi put in an impressive ride at Southwick for a solid podium position after a long dry spell this summer. Mike will be on to fill in the blanks since our last interview before the outdoors started as he hopes to carry this momentum into Steel City.
It’s tough to get any ink this year in the Lites’ class with the battle for the championship coming down to the last two races, but Geico Powersports Honda’s Blake Wharton has quietly put together a solid summer in a deep field of riders. "Prince" is always a fun interview and we look forward to catching up tonight.
Motoconcepts Yamaha’s Matt "Beef" Goerke returned to racing last weekend with a vengeance. After recovering from a severe injury, and being off the bike for quite sometime, he showed up at one of his favorite tracks to secure a podium in his first race back. We had to give him some love for that performance.
Motoendurance.net’s Robb Beams is our resident trainer and a favorite guest for his wealth of knowledge on the subject. He’ll be on to tell us what’s new with his program and give us an update on some of his elite riders, including Ian Trettle, who made his pro debut at Southwick last weekend.
Jason Weigandt has called just about every race for the last several years and nobody is better at bench racing then Weege. We’ll get his take on the outdoor season as it wraps up and maybe some insight going into a very silly season.
DMXS Radio’s own Kevin Kelly will be announcing this Labor Day weekend at the New England Regional Championship at Winchester Speedpark. Make sure if you are in the area to stop by the scoring tower for a back rub and complimentary pedicure. Check out www.winchesterspeedpark.com for more information. We’ll preview the weekend’s festivities tonight.
