Jeremy McGrath Inducted into Motorsports Hall of Fame of America

Seven-time AMA Supercross Champion Jeremy McGrath was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America last night at The Fillmore Detroit Theater. McGrath was part of the Class of 2010, which included the late NASCAR Champion Alan Kulwicki, legendary thrill show driver and racer Joie Chitwood, TV announcer Ken Squier, drag racing's Dale Armstrong, journalist/racer Jerry Titus, and spring car hero Rich Vogler. The ceremony was hosted by Chip Ganassi, the first owner to ever win the Dayton 500' the Indianapolis 500 and the Brickyard 400 in the same year.

McGrath was unable to attend last night's ceremony due to a truck racing conflict in Chicago, but he did attend the previous night's activities and was featured via a closed circuit television feed. He said he was thrilled and honored to be a part of such an illustrious group of motorsports racers and racing personalities. "This is like a dream come true and I really appreciate the Hall of Fame for considering me and my accomplishments as a motorcycle racer," said McGrath.
