Phil Nicoletti Fills in for Injured Tommy Searle

New Berlin, NY – Dragon Racing Fuels/KTM rider Phil Nicoletti will fill in for the injured FMF/KTM rider Tommy Searle on the KTM 250 SX-F race machine this weekend at the Unadilla AMA Lucas Oil Motocross Championship round.

Searle injured his shoulder earlier this week in a practice crash and is currently in San Francisco at a specialist to determine the extent of his injury. In the interim KTM has offered a chance to Nicoletti to ride aboard the factory race machine.

Nicoletti who also filled in for Searle during the last few Supercross rounds was eager to once again jump on board to the factory team.

"I have been fortunate to ride for the Dragon Racing Fuels/KTM team for this season and am grateful for them for their support to get me to where I am. I am happy that they have allowed me to take this opportunity to ride for the factory team this weekend," remarked Nicoletti. He continued, "I can’t thank KTM enough for this chance, and I hope to ride to the best of my ability to put my KTM up front at Unadilla."
