Rumors have Jake Weimer out for a couple of rounds of the AMA Nationals with (according to rumors) a variety of injuries, but a source close to Weimer indicates that what is actually going on is that he has two herniated discs in his back, and that he is definitely out of Unadilla, but anything beyond that is still up in the air.
This injury comes just as Weimer was beginning to turn his season around with top rides at the last few races, including a third-place moto finish in each of the last two Nationals.
Jake Weimer finished third in the first moto at Washougal and the previous race at Millville, but he will miss Unadilla.
