New FLUIDYNE® Powersports Radiators
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. -- Yamaha's YZ125 and 250 keep the thrilling two-stroke legacy alive with mechanical simplicity, snappy powerbands and more power-per-liter than newfangled four-strokes.
In the heat of battle, their thin, perilously located radiators can suffer from boiling over and succumb to crash damage. While racing or in trail-attack mode, this can lead to overheating, short-term power loss or worse.
That's why FLUIDYNE® Powersports developed stronger, more efficient radiators for Yamaha's latest generation of YZ125 and 250 two-strokes, which span from 2005 to the current model year. This performance and durability upgrade keeps their motors at optimum temperature in low-air-flow riding conditions and provides consistent cooling in high-speed situations.
Handcrafted in California, these beefy radiators utilize a highly efficient, 38mm wide, 10-tube core with 8mm tall air fins. Compared to the stock radiators, the FLUIDYNE® Powersports units boast 35 percent more fluid capacity to lower coolant temperatures significantly.
FLUIDYNE® radiators are also built more rugged to fend off damage. Constructed from aircraft-quality aluminum, structural highlights include thicker materials throughout, a CNC-machined billet filler neck, beaded hose connections for leak-proof sealing and a stainless-steel radiator cap rated at 16 lbs. These components are held together with substantial TIG welds to withstand extreme conditions and produce a crash survival rate far exceeding the OEM parts.
Not only do FLUIDYNE® Powersports' new Yamaha two-stroke radiators out-cool and outlast the stock units, they're much less expensive, come with a one-year warranty and install easily, utilizing the factory mounts and hardware.
Multi-time winners in the SCORE and Best in the Desert series, including the grueling Baja 1000 and 1000-mile Vegas-to-Reno race, FLUIDYNE® Powersports radiators have been proven around the world. Developed and manufactured in the United States, they are built upon 50 years of experience in vehicular fluid dynamics.
Available for Yamaha's entire lineup of off-road bikes and other late-model motorcycles, ATVs and side-by-side vehicles, FLUIDYNE® Powersports radiators are distributed by Parts Unlimited, Tucker-Rocky, WPS, KK Motorcycle Supply, MTA, Southern Motorcycle Supply, CV-4 and IMS Products-making them readily available through thousands of dealers nationwide.
