BTOSports.com/BBMX/Palmetto Suzuki Monster Energy Sponsor Cup Series - Round 13

The BTOSports.com / BBMX / Palmetto Suzuki team was fired up and ready to get back up on the box for round 13 of the Monster Energy Sponsor Cup Series after a not so great performance at round 12. Timed qualifying would go smooth as BTOSports.com team rider Kyle Keylon would post the fastest qualifying time and hold the pole for gate pick going into moto 1.
Both team riders Keylon and Thomas would have near falls in the quick right handed first turn, seeing them both come out with poor starts. Keylon would begin to make his move quickly, passing up to the 5th but then going down hard at the end of lap 1. A severe handlebar to the gut would cause Kyle to get up and going slowly, but eventually finishing the moto off in 12th place. Thomas on the other hand was the man on the move in this moto, coming from dead last on lap 1 to grab 4th place. JT$ posted the fastest lap times of the moto by over 1 full second from lap 5 - 10, but unfortunately ran out of time just as he got on the rear tires of the leaders.
Moto number 2 would be a different story, as Keylon got off to a top 5 start and worked his way up to battle for the lead in the final laps with series points leader Michael Picone. Picone would end up getting a bit aggressive in the moto, and though he took the win by a 1 bike length margin - he would eventually be docked 2 positions for overly aggressive riding, handing the moto win to BOTSports.com rider Kyle Keylon and an overall score of 12-1 on the night. Thomas's moto would not fair so well, as an early on crash in the moto would leave him with a bike that wouldn't start until he was a lap down - leaving JT no time to make anything happen. JT would end up going home with 4-15 moto scores.
