Reminder: Thunder Valley Fan Fest Today
MORGANTOWN, W.V. - Before the gates drop on Saturday's Toyota Trucks Thunder Valley National, round five of the 2010 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, the world's best riders will get up close and personal with thousands of the sport's most devoted fans through several appearances and dealer signings throughout the Denver area.
Led by the "official" event preview party, the Thunder Valley Fan Fest returns on Friday from Sun Enterprises in Denver. Fan-interactive activities, vending and various other exciting opportunities kick-off at 2 p.m. MST from the state's largest powersports dealer. Rider autographs are scheduled from 6-7:30 p.m. MST. In addition to the official pre-race celebration of the Toyota Trucks Thunder Valley National, Yamaha-supported teams Joe Gibbs Racing MX, DNA Shred Sitx/Star Racing Yamaha, Valli Motorsports and MotoConcepts will host their own dealer signing from 6-7 p.m. MST at G-Force Powersports in Lakewood, just minutes from Thunder Valley MX Park. The excitement surrounding the Toyota Trucks Thunder Valley National continues Saturday on race day. In addition to the action the world's best riders will provide out on the scenic mountainside facility, Danny Walker's American Supercamp program will be providing the opportunity for children to learn how to ride in a controlled environment within the Thunder Valley MX Park paddock. With the support of the track and Coyote Motorsports, Yamaha mini-bikes will be available for youngsters to enjoy the experience of riding a motorcycle.
Trials legend Geoff Aaron will also be in the Thunder Valley pits, putting his trademark riding skills on display through various technical obstacles throughout the day.
The Toyota Trucks Thunder Valley National kicks-off at 1 p.m. MST on Saturday, June 26. Same-day coverage of the premier 450 Class can be seen on SPEED at 11p.m. EST while next-day coverage of the 250 Class can be seen on Sunday at 12 noon EST.
