Pro Taper's Dungey Dominates Mt. Morris

Corona, CA – Team Rockstar Makita Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey dominated round three of the Lucas Oil AMA Motocross Championships at High Point Raceway in Mt. Morris, PA.
Dungey set the pace for the weekend in qualifying practice, where he posted the fastest lap time and earned himself the pole position for the day. Ryan went on to win both motos in convincing fashion and in the process, propelled himself to a 25-point lead in the championship point standings. The newly crowned AMA/FIM Supercross Champion is looking at the big picture though. "We had back-to-back good weekends and put ourselves in a pretty good spot," Dungey said after the race. "But it’s still really early in a long championship."
Riding a four moto win streak and now sporting the elusive red number plate backgrounds, Dungey has his sites set on a duplicate performance at Budds Creek this Saturday.
