A Thank You from Natalie McFarlane
As most of you know, Australian racer Andrew McFarlane passed away on May 2. Here's a note from McFarlane's wife, Natalie.
We would like to thank everybody for all the love, support, kindness, for the beautiful emails, messages, phone calls, flowers, gifts, for being there for us, to all our beautiful friends that travelled so far from overseas to attend the saddest day of our life, the send off to our hero, our best friend, Papa Andrew. To all the magazines, websites, articles and tributes on Andrew, that we can keep and treasure, to all the great photos you have all given us of "our champion." For all the stickers put on your bikes and helmets in Andrew's name. To everyone all over the world who has helped create, raise money, and donated to the JDR Trust Fund & to The Road to Recovery, to everyone who has given up their time to raise money for us, and donate, we will be forever grateful from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you to everyone for everything. We appreciate all the love and kindness. Andrew was so special to us in so many ways and we are so thankful and proud of the greatness he showed as a husband, papa, rider and friend. Our hearts are broken beyond words and we miss our best friend. I know Andrew would be looking down on ALL of us and would be proud of how much he was loved and the love you are showing his girls. We love you Papa Andrew. All our thanks.
