MX1 Grand Prix racer Ken De Dycker took the plunge over the weekend, opting to race the Rockstar Energy Hangtown National as a way to accommodate himself to the time difference, weather, and pace of American motocross as a way of preparing for this weekend's U.S. Grand Prix at Glen Helen. The French Connexion himself, MX Max, followed Big Ken's progress through the afternoon at his first-ever Lucas Oil AMA Motocross race, where the Monster Energy Yamaha rider ended up ninth overall, with 8-11 moto finishes. Not bad for a working vacation!
