Now Open: Horseshoe Bend MX Park

Horseshoe Bend MX Park is a new Motocross practice and race facility located in Owenton, KY. Our mission here at HBMX is to develop a complete motocross destination for everyone from the weekend warrior to the serious racer. With the input and experience of 15-year pro racer James Povolny, along with track builder extraordinaire Lonnie Taylor, we have not one, but two national quality motocross tracks. In addition to the two motocross tracks, we also have supercross track for all the pro level guys to train on that will allow them to have a quality practice to prepare for the SX series in 2011.

The fun does not stop there with things to do on two wheels. We also have about 6 ½ miles of woods trails along with mountain bike single track trails and a BMX track. The Mountain bike trails and BMX track are currently under construction and are scheduled to be ready for our Grand Opening June26-27. Horseshoe Bend MX Park is scheduled to open the doors this coming weekend, May 1st and 2nd, with a motocross practice day on Saturday and a Kentucky State Series Hare Scramble event on Sunday.
