FMF Racing Dominates the Racing Weekend
April 29, 2010, 7:53pm
From a rutted Seattle Supercross to the muddy trenches of the Big Buck GNCC then to the California High Desert, FMF and our athletes were Feeling The Power of domination this past weekend. Starting off the weekend with the Monster Energy Supercross Series where DNA Shred Stix/Star Yamaha’s Broc Tickle broke out to over a 4 second lead over the competition winning his first ever Lites Main Event. Starting of the race within the top five, Tickle then made his moves on his fellow competitors powering past them and never looking back dominating the race. “FMF has been a part of Broc Tickles program since his Amateur dominance and we are very excited to see Broc take the next step in his career and nailing another podium spot.
“The Star Racing program is top notch and we are very happy to have been a part of their program from the get go” Donny Emler Jr Marketing Director FMF Racing. In the Supercross class, it was another long time FMF athlete claiming a 3rd place podium finish. Muscle Milk/Toyota JGR Yamaha’s Justin Brayton has been riding in the top five all year and finally landed his careers best finish in the Supercross Class with a 3rd place in Seattle. Washington. The JGR program is second to none and with Brayton’s speed, we can’t wait for the outdoor season to see Brayton shine.
FMF power did not stop in Seattle and made it’s way to the Legendary Loretta Lynn’s ranch for the 5th stop of the GNCC series. After 3 hours of racing in some very harsh conditions it was Am-Pro/ FMF Yamaha rider Charlie Mullins making a last lap pass on FMF Makita Suzuki and current GNCC points leader Josh Strang for the first win of the season. FMF also rounded out the top five positions with FMF/KTM Nate Kanney clinching the final podium spot, and FMF/KTM Chris Bach and Cory Buttrick rounding it off for 4th and 5th. The XC2 class had FMF/KTM Rider Kailub Russell finishing just where he left off by winning round five, which marks his fourth straight win of the season . “We love all forms of racing and it takes a lot of commitment to deliver the best product and support and we feel FMF showcases this year after year with our dedication to motorcycle racing” Don Emler Sr. Owner and Founder FMF Racing.
Back to the west coast the California desert was heating up and the AMA National Hare and Hound championships are in full swing. FMF/KTM riders David Pearson and David Kamo stood atop the podium scoring 2nd and 3rd.
FMF would like to congratulate all of athletes on a great weekend. See more info at www.fmfracing.com
