Ping,
Have you been watching Bubba’s World? Is it just me or is that really bad television?

Dear Scott,
I only saw one of the shows and I think it was the most recent episode. It wasn't too bad, but the thing that bugged me was the inclusion of Todd Potter. I don’t think there has ever been anyone in the history of human beings that was more in love with himself. Ever. I did Google Todd Potter and it DID give me one word… Jackass. Beyond that, I think it's really great to see our sport get more mainstream attention and we should all do our best to support it.
PING
Dear Ping:
WTF is going on here??? I turned once again to my "second favorite" section of Racer X Online to see the Fan of the Week (naturally, my favorite is "Ask Ping"). Much to my dismay, I see a young lad sitting on his bike, presumably at the races. Now I'm all for promoting the sport across a broad spectrum of society and admit that at one time, many years ago, I was such a lad (though my mount was a 1973 Honda 70).
I concede that fans come in various shapes, sizes and even sometimes have ridiculous accents when they speak. I know I speak for the vast majority of the readers when I tell you that we turn to the Fan of the Week to see women. Normally, hot, scantily-clad women. You don't see Sports Illustrated trying to go all P.C. and feature little boys or geriatric models on their swimsuit issue, do you? I previously wrote you complaining about the site only featuring teenyboppers and requested women instead of girls. Your staff had been doing a great job until this. Who are you guys trying to appeal to? Priests? Scout Leaders? I hope this was just a one-time deviation from the norm and not a glimpse of things to come.
Thanks for taking the time to read my vent. I feel better.
Regards,
J.T. #840
Dear J.T.,
I would love to be able to blast you for being a perverted, old man that needs to find himself a hobby outside of grazing the internet for photos of beautiful, young women. I wish I could go off on a tirade about how morality has been pushed aside in today’s society and that the entire Racer X staff as a whole is rising above the heathen fray and sticking to our roots by showing fans of all ages, genders and walks of life in this weekly feature. The only problem with that is, well, you know, I kind of feel the same way you do. It’s disappointing to scroll down the screen in anticipation and then see some sunburned, middle-aged dad with his son on his shoulders standing at the fence line of a national… Wah, wah, waaaah. Hang in there, JT. I’m sure we’ll get back on track soon.

Dear Charles,
That sounds like a terrific plan, Chuck. Here are my thoughts: Take the Caps Lock button off your computer completely. Have someone show you how the Spell Check feature works on your computer and give punctuation a chance. Those are just my thoughts and whatnot.
