  • Team Babbitt's Looking to Lock Down 2010 AMA Arenacross Championship
Last weekend Chad Johnson and Josh Demuth of the Babbitts Monster Energy TiLUBE Kawasaki Team kept the winning streak alive under the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio. Team Babbitt's Tyler Bowers and then current series point leader is sitting the rest of the season out due to an unfortunate accident during a mid-week practice! Bowers suffered a broken femur and is now recovering from a successful surgery. With the success Tyler Bowers achieved this season he will still be able to end 3rd in points.

Even under the rough race conditions the Nutter Center brought these racers last weekend, Johnson and Demuth prevailed their unrivaled talent right off the start going into their heat race! Demuth brought in the 1st win of the night and Johnson followed in closely behind in 2nd.

Going into the main, Team Babbitts on the front gate pulled off with a challenging start. Chad Johnson in 6th position with Josh Demuth right behind in 7th, both riders put on a assault to work their way up to the front of the pack! Johnson locked down the win for the night and Demuth took the 2nd place position! Without teammate Bowers in play, this was the best sweep Team Babbitts could bring to the fans of Nutter Center!

Daniel Aulseybrook Team Babbitts lites rider sets his career off right and clinches his first ever AMA AX East Coast Lites Championship and teammate AJ Catanzaro is currently sitting in first place with a 20 point lead in the AX West Coast Lites Series, AJ will be looking to lock down this Championship win tonight in Denver at the Denver Coliseum!

Tonight the heat is ON for Team Babbitt's Chad Johnson and Josh Demuth, Denver offers two nights of racing and both of these guys are driven for the win! If you are not sitting in the Denver Coliseum make sure you log onto www.arenacross.com to watch the live blog race feed directly from the arena.
