(Ketchum, ID) The leaders in motorsport goggle technology, innovation, and Made in America quality, are pleased to announce they have reached an agreement with the Canadian Motosport Racing Corporation as the official eyewear of the 2010 CMRC Monster Energy Motocross Nationals.
The CMRC Monster Energy Motocross Nationals is the single largest motorsport series in Canada, representing the pinnacle of motocross as it enters its 18th year visiting nine cities in seven provinces. The CMRC series is nationally televised and is the only televised national tour in Canada. The series has been broadcast across Canada nationally on Roger’s Sportsnet for over a decade and repackaged in French for broadcast on Quebec’s popular RDS for the past nine years. It boasts a loyal and rabid following as the Canadian equivalent of the AMA Motocross Series in the US.
“Given our long-standing involvement and heritage in motocross, bringing this kind of program under our Canadian sponsorship and promotions program is a great fit and we feel that the brand synergy we will create with the CMRC is a huge win-win for everyone,” said Smith Optics Canadian general manager, Rob Retzlaff.
As the official eyewear sponsor of the CMRC, Smith Optics will be on hand at each and every event with Smith branded safety-bales, banners, podium logos and a Smith hospitality booth where attendees can stop by and experience the latest and greatest products from the most trusted goggle company in the industry. At each stop, Smith will also be offering raffles, games, prizes, autograph signings, and a goggle trade up program which invites fans to bring in their non-Smith motorsport goggles and trade-up to a Smith goggle at a significant discount.
“We are very excited to welcome Smith Optics on as a sponsor of CMRC’s Monster Energy Motocross Nationals for the next three years. This is the first step in establishing a long term, mutually beneficial relationship, and we will make all efforts to deliver Smith Optics valuable brand awareness and exposure of their line of goggles and eyewear through our prestigious Pro series,” said CMRC president Mark Stallybrass.
Smith Optics would like to officially express their excitement to be a member of the CMRC family and, as the season approaches, invite all fans, athletes, and the like to make sure they find the Smith Optics compound at a national near them and drop in to check it out.
