Trey Canard Continues Success at Anaheim 3 Supercross

Anaheim, CA – GEICO Powersports Honda rider Trey Canard took his second win of the season at the sixth round of the 2010 AMA Monster Energy Supercross Series at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA, in front of a packed stadium of 34,227 fans.
After placing 6th a week earlier in San Diego, Canard arrived in Anaheim focused and prepared for a win. Starting off lap one of the main event in a close third place, Canard made a pass near the end of lap one to lead the field. He rode flawlessly as he distanced himself from the rest of the field to take the victory.
Canard ends the first portion of the Western Regional Supercross Lites series on a high note. “It feels great” said Canard, “I’m very thankful to be where I’m at right now and excited to keep going.”
West Lites action returns on April 24th in Seattle, WA, and Trey Canard will go into the break holding strong in second place and just fourteen points out of first with two races remaining. Announced on February 11th, Canard will be filling in for the injured Andrew Short on the Honda Red Bull Racing team in the 450 Supercross class. Canard will race select races for Honda Red Bull Racing until West Lites competition returns.
