Eight weeks ago Rock River decided to start a Supercross/Outdoor National team. It's intent was to compliment it's Powerhouse amateur program, and to be used as a stepping stone for Rock River riders leaving the amateur ranks to become pro. In just 3 weeks, the program was already a success. Kyle Chisholm, needing help at the start of the season, was set aboard a Rock River factory Yamaha suspended by Fox Shox and took it to an impressive 11th and 12th place finish in the Supercross Main events. Kyle missed the first race as Rock River Fox Yamaha team allowed him to race over in Germany where he swept the entire event. After these impressive finishes, Kyle was noticed by an established team, and asked to ride the remainder of the season for them. Fox's said, “Fox Racing Shox was thankful to have the opportunity to work with Kyle and help the Rock Yamaha Team take him further in his 2010 success. We look forward to working with the team going forward and providing them the best suspension possible to assist there young talented riders this season.” Rock River, Fox, and Yamaha wish Kyle the best of luck and are proud to be a stepping stone in his professional career.
