San Manuel Yamaha's James Stewart definitely wasn't slow today in practice at Angel Stadium, scoring the fourth-fastest time, but that's certainly not up to his standards. To make matters worse, he pulled out part way through the practice session favoring his injured right wrist, which was hurt last week in his crash with Kyle Partridge in their Heat race.
There is no official update yet as to whether or not he will be racing tonight, but rumors have been circulating all day that he may sit it out.
However, if there's any rider out there who can tough it out and race with an obviously sore wrist like that, it's probably James Stewart, so it will likely be a game-time decision.
Racing starts in two hours.
