Winter Am Series Coming to Forest Glen MX

MANATEE, FL. Forest Glen Motoplex, Florida and Manatee County’s newest motocross and off road motorcycle/quad facility, announces its’ selection as the site for the Florida Winter Am Series, Race #5, January 28-31, 2010. The 29th Annual Florida Winter Am Series is one of the most recognized and prestigious motocross series in the US. Since 1970 top pro and amateir racers from across the Country have come to Florida in the winter to train and race this six race Series. Forest Glen MX’s selection as a site in this race series is another significant accomplishment for this new facility, striving to become one of the premier motocross and off road facilities in Florida and the United States. These events will attract hundreds of racers and thousands of spectators to the Gulf Coast of Florida.

The first race at Forest Glen will be held this weekend of January 16th and 17th, and will be sponsored by Florida Trail Riders Association. In addition Forest Glen Motoplex has been awarded an Area Qualifying Race in the Loretta Lynn Series for the weekend of March 12th-14th. The Loretta Lynn Series is the largest amateur motocross championship series in the world. Hosting a Loretta Lynn Qualifier is another significant accomplishment for the new facility.
