Spinechillers / Storm Lake Honda Eager for 2010
December 16, 2009 11:05am
The Spinechillers – Storm Lake Honda team of Nathan Skaggs (#5), Willy Browning (#10), and Zach Ames (#11) are eager to get the 2010 Arenacross season underway. Following a breakout season in ‘09, the team is ready to get back on the starting line. Nathan Skaggs’ quick starts and love of speed posted three wins last season while Willy Browning was able to secure the East Lites championship. Zach Ames put on a late season charge to end the points chase just outside of the top 10. This team of Ohio natives has deep roots in the sport and race gas in their blood.
According to team Manager Dallas Avery, "Putting things together this year was a lot harder due to the present economy. If it wasn't for the support from our sponsors, family and friends we would be sitting at home this year"
"I (Avery) am really excited, there are some new teams as well as veteran teams coming back. The added cities on the tour will allow us to take the most exciting sport in the land to new audiences. This is going to be a good year to be an Arenacross fan."
"The start is always the key to winning especially in Arenacross. Lucky for
us, Williams Motorwerx has our motors running at peak levels. Jessie Williams goes all out and is always right there for us, best of the best."
"I definitely want to thank Yoshimira. Richard Bassinger and I have had a
Long-term relationship, I am so honored that it continues. Jay Clark with
Vertex Pistons, Hot Cams, Pivot Works. RG3, thank you Heath and Lynk for
believing in us, Adrian at Ride E this guy makes products never wear
out, Mike Ivers at Sunstar, and the creative geniuses at DZG Graphics who keep our bikes looking great. I would especially like to thank my wife and family for their support all year long”.
According to Jeff Schultz from Storm Lake Honda, “The 2009 AX season was our first one with Dallas and the Spinechillers crew. Our partnership with Spinechillers was a huge success. I feel that Storm Lake Honda was very well represented. It just made sense to continue to support the most exciting team in racing.
We were very impressed, Schultz went on to say, with the riders and the results as well. We look forward to another great year. Our relationship with Honda enabled the team to be on 2010 CRF450’s. This year’s bike is the best thing that we have ever ridden and will be super competitive in the tight Arenacross tracks.”
