BUFFALO, NY. - DP Brakes, the leader in sintered braking technology, followed up an excellent 2008 season with another strong showing in MX, AX and Off-road events in 2009.
Starting the year off was the AMA Arenacross Series Championship with a 1-2 Title by TUF Honda Racing rider’s Jeff Gibson and Josh Demuth.
This was followed by Pro Circuit rider’s Christophe Pourcel and Austin Stroupe who finished 1-2 in this year’s AMA SX Lites East Championship.
Finally, DP Brakes rounded out the season with impressive finishes in AMA’s GNCC Series. In the Pro Class five out of the Top 10 riders were sponsored by DP Brakes. Those included Team Suzuki’s riders Josh Strang and Charlie Mullins finishing second and third respectively.
“We congratulate all the teams, and riders, on their accomplishments in 2009, and wish them all the best in 2010. We are truly honored to be part of their success,” said Larry Mills, President of DP Brakes and Clutches North America.
“Not only do DP Brakes last longer than any other brake pad on the market, they also perform flawlessly in all these arduous conditions, plus are non abusive to the rotors and give the rider quiet performance”, Mills added.
